The Fanvil A212 Wall-mounted Speaker is a commercial-grade IP audio terminal designed for broadcasting, intercom and communication applications in offices, schools, public facilities and other commercial environments. It supports SIP 2.0 and can operate as an independent IP audio device or integrate with broader communication, surveillance, access control and broadcasting systems.
The A212 combines network-based audio communication with wall-mounted installation, making it suitable for deployments where clear announcements and two-way communication are required without occupying floor or desk space. It supports both PoE and an external DC power supply, allowing the speaker to receive power and network connectivity through a single Ethernet cable when connected to a compatible PoE switch.
For broadcasting applications, the Fanvil A212 supports multicast audio with up to 10 configurable listening addresses. It supports G.722 and Opus codecs for high-quality voice communication and can be integrated into Fanvil broadcasting and intercom systems.
The speaker also provides intercom functionality, including automatic answering and configurable intercom settings. Its three short-circuit input interfaces can be connected to external devices such as switches, infrared sensors, door sensors and vibration sensors, while a short-circuit output can be used with compatible external equipment.
An additional SPK interface allows the A212 to connect to an external passive speaker rated at 8Ω/15W, providing an option for expanding the audio output in suitable installations. The device can therefore be used as part of a larger audio communication or public-address setup.
With its wall-mounted design, network connectivity, PoE support, multicast broadcasting and intercom capabilities, the Fanvil A212 is well suited for professional installations requiring centralized IP-based audio communication and announcements.
