The COLBOR 220W Bi-Color COB LED Video Light is part of a line of light sources ideal for film, video, vlogging, and more. The bi-color light has an expansive variable color range of 2700-6500K to meet the challenge of any ambient light scenario or to spark creativity. The light's high CRI rating of 96 is your assurance of accurate color reproduction, while its output at each color is an impressive 52,700 lux at 3.3' with the included reflector. The control wheels and LED display screen offer local physical adjustment when the fixture is in proximity, but the optional CTRL1 physical controller can be used, and the COLBOR Studio app allows remote control at distances up to 492'.
The COLBOR CL220 expands the color temperature from 2700-6500K while the CL200M stays at 5600K. However it changes, the fixture maintains the same output of 220W. This removes all worries about illuminance inconsistency and allow you to focus on your production.
With included standard reflector, the CL220 offers powerful 52700 lux of 5600K daylight-balanced light at 1 meter (* lab data) and 58100 lux of CL220M.
The all new lamp bead assembling technology effectively reduces the heat of lamp beads and the double-sided coated optical glass on the surface of the beads allows the light to pass through properly – this helps keep the light brightness and color accuracy, and as a result, offers sustainable CRI 97+ output. The 85 tungsten SSI and TM30 Rf94 and Rg102+ at 3200K together enhance the color rendition to capture every shooting in true colors. The CL220M also features high lighting quality index values (CRI 96+, TM30 Rf93 and Rg104 at 5600K) to offer consistently accurate white light.
Aluminum alloy is used to manufacture the fixture, which with surface oxidation treatment and texturing process builds the CL220/CL220M LED constant light for photography of rugged reliability. However, all this does not result in great heaviness and instead, video lighting equipment of only 1.57kg that is 50% lighter than those of the same output.
The NTC (= Negative Temperature Coefficient) thermistor and the PWM (= Pulse Width Modulation) control are combined to work in an intelligent mode where the inbuilt fan could monitor the COB light temperature itself and adjust itself to cool the fixture properly. When the fixture is overheat, a self-protection mechanism would initiate to prevent any accidents.
The copper heatsink based dissipation regime runs to transport and dissipate the COB thermal energy quickly and efficiently. The upgraded FDB (= Fluid Dynamic Beating) built in the cooling fan is much more quiet, significantly decreasing high-frequency mechanical noises. Under this, the CL220 lineup is able to keep a balance between high output (= 220W) and low noise (= 28dB (±2dB) at 1m) even when the temperature outside reaches 35℃.
The COLBOR CL220 lineup uses Neutrik REAN connectors which is plated with gold finish to bring power of great safety and reliability. Additionally, this filming lighting equipment can work with a single V mount battery to output half of its maximum power. The mobile solution of dual V mounts allows the fixture for full output. This makes the CL220 lineup an ideal option for LED light for outdoor photography.
